Hello friends! I'm back with another very LENGTHY blog post!
This time, I'll be sharing about a indie haul!!
I'm so sorry for being MIA,
my camera was malfunctioning like crazy and I only got it back
like, 3 weeks ago? To add on, I'm going to be
moving house temporarily, so packing has been happening..
Last but definitely not the least...
SCHOOL HAS STARTED.
I've enrolled in Singapore Polytechnic,
pursuing a Diploma in Perfumery and Cosmetics Science!
I'll try to post regularly! Moving on...
I know right?!?! I actually rarely do large hauls
like this! 7 pigments is a lot for me!
She's a very trustworthy seller and worth your time!
I just ordered Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy and Mephisto shadow from her!
As you can probably tell from the photo (and title),
I have bought 2 brands from her,
Shiro cosmetics and Femme Fatale Cosmetics,
which I presume can be found
here.
I bought the 3g FFC pigment for SGD8.50
and the default 5g Shiro ones for SGD12.50,
which is pretty great considering the fact that
a little goes a fucking long way with loose pigments!
Anyway, before I move on to the swatches,
I'd just like to point out that
I didn't swatch the sample pigments that were given to me
for some very odd reason haha.
I could swatch it in a separate blog post!
All swatches are done over the bases as follows:
top-bottom: NYX Proof It! Waterproof eye base
LAGirl cosmetics Yellow concealer
Bare skin (control)
LAGirl Glide On Gel Liner in Whiten
FEMME FATALE
First we have Alpine Skies!
Described as a ' super pale taupe with cool tones and prominent turquoise shimmer.'
This colour is TO DIE FOR
outdoor in direct sunlight!
indoors in natural sunlight
Next up, we have Candied Apple!
Described as a 'pale redwood pink with a green duochrome, and blends out to have an almost brown undertone to it.'
This colour is just GORGEOUS
outdoor, direct sunlight!
indoors! the green duochrome is definitely MUCH MORE
prominent in real life!
Following, we have Moonglow!
Described as a 'pale columbia blue with a prominent golden duochrome and subtle pink shimmer.'
I've used this colour and I just have to say,
look at that GOLD omg! I used this as an inner corner highlight
and was BLOWN AWAY.
outdoors, direct sunlight!
indoor, natural sunlight
the gold reflects was much more prominent at
this angle!
Now we have Puzzle!
This shadow is unique, being described as a 'concrete grey with copperish-gold overlay'
The amber reflect is so strong in real life,
might possibly be the most unique shadow I've seen thus far!
outdoor, direct sunlight! the camera did not
do the copper/amber reflects justice!
indoor, natural light!
the amber/copper reflects may be a bit more obvious in
this photo!
Next, we have Secret Shiny!
It is described as a 'soft and sheer violet purple with golden shimmer.'
This shadow is just stunning! Many companies
can't seem to nail the gold reflects effect, resulting in cheap looking shadow!
outdoors, intense and direct sunlight!
indoors, under natural lighting! the gold reflects are much more prominent
in natural light!
Following, we have Underlord, another very unique shadow!
It is described as a 'crushed berry with green shimmer.'
This shade is very stunning, especially when the
green reflects are noticeable!
outdoor, direct sunlight! you can see the
green reflects! so pretty!
indoors, natural light! this duochrome is the
more prominent one as it's visible both indoors and outdoors!
SHIRO
The one and only Shiro cosmetics shade I have
in my collection would be I Loved A Maid,
which is from their Game of Thrones collection!
I mean, I don't watch that show but
that won't stop me from getting an eyeshadow with Peter Dinklage's
face on it haha!
I Love A Maid is described to be a
'Green-shifting gold shining out over a base of softened Lannister crimson.'
This shadow, as with Puzzle and Underlord, is stunningly unique!
outdoor, direct sunlight! it's a really pretty copper on me!
however, the camera doesnt capture it's green reflects under direct sunlight!
indoors, natural light. green reflects is a bit more prominent indoors
as compared to outdoors.. but...
this swatch of the shadow takes the cake! the green reflects
are captured! this was taken indoors as well!
That's it for today my lovelies, stay tuned for more
blog posts! Hopefully they're also consistent!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day wherever you are!
